Srivatsa

The design is inspired by Srivatsa means "beloved of Sri", the goddess Lakshmi.

 It is a mark on the chest of Vishnu where his consort Lakshmi resides. It is said that the tenth avatar of Vishnu, Kalki, will bear the Shrivatsa mark on his chest.

The endless knot or eternal knot  is also symbolic knot and one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols in buddhism .

The endless knot has been described as "an ancient symbol representing the interweaving of the Spiritual path, the flowing of Time and Movement within That Which is Eternal. All existence, it says, is bound by time and change, yet ultimately rests serenely within the Divine and the Eternal.
